(VOVworld) - A national mobile communication festival about Dien Bien Phu opened on Monday in the city of Dien Bien Phu, Dien Bien province. The exchange program organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism celebrates the 60^th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory, with the participation of more than 1000 Vietnamese artists from 48 provinces nationwide. Musician Nguyen Ngoc Tan, a member of the mobile communication troupe of Quang Binh, said: “Coming to Dien Bien at this time, a land closely associated with the name of General Vo Nguyen Giap, one of many outstanding people of Quang Binh, all the members of the Quang Binh Art troupe are very moved. During our stay in Dien Bien, we will focus on communicating the 60^th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory with many special art performances to the people of the remote areas.”

The art troupes were divided into groups to perform for the people of Hoa Binh, Son La, Yen Bai and Lai Chau province before coming back to the main stage in Dien Bien.
