VOV opens a bureau for the northeastern region
(VOVworld) – VOV has inaugurated a bureau for the northeastern region in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province on Thursday. The station construction started in June 2014 on an area on 800 sqm in Cao Xanh – Ha Khanh B urban area, in Ha Long city.

The station is in charge of producing and broadcasting radio programs on Vietnam’s national sea and island, national defense, and socio-economic development in northeastern provinces.

VOV President Nguyen Dang Tien told the inaugural ceremony that VOV bureaus in different regions will advocate to communicating Party guidelines and state laws to people nationwide. The bureau is the first phase of VOV’s broadcast project in Quang Ninh and northeastern provinces. In the 2nd phase VOV will build a FM 10 KW transmitter in Van Don, Quang Ninh province.
