VOV strengthens cooperation with Myanmar broadcaster

(VOV) - A delegation from Myanmar Radio and Television (MRTV) has paid a working visit to Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) in Hanoi.

At a reception on September 5, VOV Deputy Director General Vu Hai highlighted the results of bilateral cooperation in implementing projects within the framework of the ASEAN Committee on Culture and Information (ASEAN-COCI).

Hai said VOV has attached importance to strengthening cooperation with press agencies in Southeast Asia, including Myanmar. It has cooperated with 60 broadcasting organizations and press agencies over the world.

Soe Myint, head of the Myanmar delegation, expressed his wish to enhance cooperation with VOV in the field of radio and television broadcasting.

Since the signing of the cooperation agreement in March 1998, both sides have organized many exchange programs for both managers and journalists.
