(VOVworld) – The 6th Hanoi International Film Festival (HANIFF) themed “Cinema – International and Sustainable Development” opened on November 1. The festival’s 550 films from 40 countries and territories include two feature films and 12 short films from Vietnam. Vietnamese celebrities made a stunning appearance at the opening ceremony of the festival.

The Hanoi Film Festival is organised every 2 years by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. It provides young film makers an opportunity to work with professional film makers to develop their projects. It also honours excellence in films and promotes cooperation in film making.
