17th meeting of Vietnam – Russia intergovernmental committee opens
(VOVworld) - The 17th meeting of the Vietnam – Russia intergovernmental committee on economic – trade and scientific – technological cooperation opened on Saturday in Vladivostok, Russia.
At this meeting, the two sides discussed the best possible solutions to promote and enhance cooperation in the fields of economics, trade and science – technology, and to increase trade turnover between Vietnam and Russia.
The aim of the two-day meeting is to promote and revitalize the fruitful traditional relationship between Vietnam and Russia. This is also in preparation for an official visit by Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong to Russia later this year.
