(VOVworld) - The Institute for Research on Educational Development in association with the Phan Chau Trinh Cultural Fund announced the 2016 Good Book Awards in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday.

Six different categories including research, education, economics, management, literature and children’s books, and new discoveries, were revealed for the awards.

A new feature of this year’s awards is a prize honoring books selected by a young jury including five prestigious representatives of Vietnam’s book industry.

Launched in 2011, the annual Good Book Awards aim to honor outstanding works by writers and translators and encourage more reading in society.
