(VOVworld)- A program was held in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday to mark the 228th anniversary of the Ngoc Hoi – Dong Da victory over foreign invaders.

Nguyen Hoang Nang, President of the municipal Fatherland Front, recalled the epic struggle and called on local people, soldiers, and officials to unite to fulfill all economic, culture, and education targets to help turn HCMC into a modern and civilized city.
