25 more Vietnamese workers will soon leave Egypt for Vietnam

(VOVworld) – On Thursday a special mission from the Vietnam Embassy in Egypt received 25 workers fleeing Libya via Egypt’s Salloum border gate and will help them return to Vietnam. They are scheduled to head home on a Qatar flight late Friday and arrive at midday on Saturday at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. They were in good health despite a long arduous journey escaping the military conflict in Benghazi. Meanwhile, a special team from Vinamex Company arrived in Cairo on Thursday to help 682 workers for the Korean companies Huyndai Amco and Huyndai Engineering Construction escape from Libya to Vietnam via Egypt. Other Vietnamese workers will fly from eastern Libya to Cairo on a daily Egyptian flight between August 9 ad August 11. Vietnam Airlines is scheduling three connecting flights to help these workers get home.
