(VOVworld)- The Indian Embassy in Hanoi on Friday organized a ceremony to mark the 67th anniversary of India’s Independence Day. In his address, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister and Head of the Government Committee for Ethnicity Giang Seo Phu expressed his belief that the relationship between Vietnam and India will further develop meeting the practical interests of both nations, for peace, stability, cooperation and prosperity in the region and the world. Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Preeti Saran said by opening a direct flight between India and Vietnam in November, India hopes to increase tourism cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries. The Ambassador expressed her hope that once the new Indian government takes office, there will be exchanges of the two countries’ politicians. She said the Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs  is expected to visit Vietnam later this month.
