(VOVworld) - The 6th Culture, Sports, and Tourism Festival of the Khmer will take place from November 27th to 29th in Hau Giang province.

Boat racing is one of the most attractive competition at the Khmer culture, sports, and tourism festival

The event will consist of folk games and sport competitions, performances, and a food fair. The festival aims to preserve and promote the cultural features of Khmer people while enriching the spiritual life of the locals. The activities will promote traditional values in combination with the movements of building a cultural lifestyle and new rural areas, and promoting tourism in the Mekong river delta.
