75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s return to homeland to lead Vietnamese revolution

(VOVworld) – Major newspapers ran articles to mark the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s return to the homeland to lead Vietnamese revolution after 30 years he went overseas for national salvation.

The Liberated Sai Gon newspaper reported that leader Nguyen Ai Quoc’s return to Vietnam in 1941 met the demand of Vietnam’s revolution and history development of the struggles for national independence and liberation. The newspaper said the 30 – year overseas journey by Nguyen Ai Quoc was also significant which helped enhance relations with alliance countries to fight fascism as well as gain more support from the international community to Vietnam’s uprisings for national independence and success of the August Revolution.

The People’s Army newspaper ran article on historic milestone in Vietnam revolution, which reviewed major milestones of the revolutionary career of Nguyen Ai Quoc (then President Ho Chi Minh).

On this occasion, leaders of Cao Bang authorities held ceremony and offered incense at President Ho Chi Minh Temple at Pac Bo special national relic site.
