(VOVworld) – Vice-chairwoman of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong met with delegates attending the 9^th Army Emulation Congress in Hanoi on Tuesday.

She praised the outstanding merits and exploits of military personnel and units in training and defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Ms. Phong said that there should be more army emulation campaigns to create momentum for building up the army and strengthening Vietnam’s defense capability in the context of global complications and subversive schemes by hostile forces.
