(VOVworld) - A wide range of activities will be organised at the Viet Nam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Ha Noi from April 15-19 to celebrate the Cultural Day of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism said that the highlight event will be the opening ceremony on April 16, with the participation of hundreds of ethnic people.
Nguyen Dinh Loi, Deputy Head of the Viet Nam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, said: “We’ll introduce distinctive cultural activities including the Fire dance of the Dao, the Maturity ceremony of the E De, and the Longevity ceremony of the Dao. Performances of folk songs and dances, exchanges, and sports will also be held. We’ll also offer special ethnic food dishes and a seminar on promoting ethnic culture in business.”
As part of the celebrations, an exchange themed “Spring-Family-Sea and Islands” will be held on Saturday at the Vietnam Culture and Art Exhibition Center in Hanoi.
