(VOVworld) – Vietnamese newspapers ran many articles featuring the 145^th birth anniversary of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin on April 22.

The daily People’s Newspaper ran an article called “President Ho Chi Minh and his creative application of Lenin’s ideology”. According to the article, the success of Russia’s October Revolution in 1917 was due to Lenin’s theoretical creativity and practical guidelines. President Ho Chi Minh creatively applied those thoughts to the Vietnamese revolution. He was well aware of the relations between nations, classes, national independence, democracy, and socialism in the development of the Vietnamese revolution. The People’s Army newspaper ran an article on President Ho Chi Minh’s writing about Lenin. The article said President Ho Chi Minh wrote about Lenin with deep trust and respect for him, and that Lenin not only implemented and developed Marxism but also created scores of revolutionary soldiers with his revolutionary theories and morality.
