In his address, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Nguyen Thien Nhan called for more activities to gather and develop a generation of young people with strong political will, high qualifications, and creativity to pioneer in scientific research and business production. Nhan said:“The program rekindles the tradition of patriotism and the willingness to serve the country among millions of Vietnamese youths both at home and abroad. On behalf of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Central Committee, I would like to praise the initiatives and achievements made by young people from central agencies and People’s Police forces. I strongly believe that today’s young generation will follow the tradition of the ‘Three-readiness movement’ to turn Vietnam into a more prosperous and beautiful country.”

On this occasion, 50 tons of cement and 48.000 USD were presented to build houses for lonely former young volunteers in Quang Tri.
