(VOVworld) - The Party Central Committee members voted to endorse personnel work orientations for the 12^th Party Central Committee and local administration organizational models. Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong spoke at the closing session: “The 12^th Party Central Committee must uphold solid collectiveness, solidarity, political staunchness, national independence and socialism, innovative mindset, people’s connection and leadership capacity. It must have clear discipline, eagerness to listen and practice criticism and self criticism.”

He said the nomination of personnel must rely on a masterplan of the Party Central Committee, Politbureau and Secretariat while addressing the closing session: “To successfully implement tasks for this year towards the 12^th national Party Congress, central committee members must show their responsibility to the Party, people and nation in successfully implementing Party resolution and preparation for the Party Congress, especially personnel plans for the Politbureau, the Secretariat and other key leadership positions as well as nominated candidates to participate at the Party Congress.”

An announcement was released on major outcomes of the plenum. It wrote that from May 4 to May 7, the Party Central Committee discussed and commented on personnel alternatives for the 12^th Party Central Committee, the quantity of delegates to participate at the 12^th Party Congress, local administration models, and Long Thanh international airport proposal.
They confirmed the necessity and correct orientation in the building of Long Thanh international airport, considering it as a major national project. They asked for identification of criteria and conditions to make it to become an international air transport hub in the Southeast Asian region while ensuring efficient performance.

The Party Central Committee asks the whole Party, people and army to strengthen unity and successfully implement Party resolutions, Party congresses at all level towards national Party Congress.
