Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan praised the efforts of local people to develop Quang Ninh over the past 60 years. She said:“Based on your achievements, Quang Ninh authorities and residents should seize opportunities and overcome challenges to fulfill your goal of economic growth while maintaining security and social welfare. I hope Quang Ninh province will fulfill its significant role in Vietnam’s development.”

At the ceremony, Cam Pha city received Vietnam’s first-class Independence Order and the Prime Minister’s decision recognizing it as a 2^nd class urban area.
