(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh lauded China’s achievements over the past 65 years and said he believes China will reap greater success in the cause of reform and building socialism with Chinese characteristics.

He made the statement at an event organized the Chinese Embassy in Hanoi on September 29 to mark China’s 65th National Day (October 1). Ninh said that Vietnam wants to work closely with China to enhance their traditional friendship, increase mutual trust and understanding, and bolster their comprehensive strategic partnership.

Chinese Ambassador Hong Xiaoyong reviewed China’s milestones over the past decades, especially during 35 years of reform. Thanks to great efforts by both sides, relations have flourished, he said, insisting that China wants to expand comprehensive cooperation with Vietnam to elevate their partnership to new heights.
