(VOVworld)- The Ministry of Transport organized a conference on Monday to review 5 years of strengthening rural transportation management in connection with new rural development.

In his address, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh, Head of the Steering Committee of the National Target Program on New Rural Development stressed the need to mobilize more resources from central to local levels for rural transportation development. Ninh asked the Ministry of Transport to submit to the National Assembly the project on issuing cement bonds to construct rural roads.
