(VOVworld)-The Hungarian consulate in Istanbul received a envelop containing a yellow-powder on Monday. Earlier, similar packets contianing an unidentified yellow powder were sent to the Canadian, US, French, German, and Belgium consulates in Istanbul.

Twenty-five people, including five foreigners, who had been under quarantined after being exposed to the yellow substance at the German, Canadian and Belgian consulates in were discharged. Turkey’s Health Ministry said samples were tested for several biological agents, including anthrax, plague, tularemia, ricin and botulism. All results came back negative. Health Minister Mehmet Müezzinoğlu said that the powder will be considered “inoffensive” if further tests come back negative.
