(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s credit growth is predicted to jump 7%, from 3.5% now to over 10% by the end of the year. The State Bank of Vietnam’s Governor Nguyen Van Binh explained at a conference reviewing 6 months of operation of the banking sector on Wednesday that the increase follows the general rule that credit grows twice as fast in the second half of the year.

He said the central bank plans a more flexible monetary policy until the end of 2014. Circulating credit flows require coordinated macro measures on bad debts, increase in demand, market assistance, consumption, and collateral.
