(VOVworld) – The 13th expanded Culture, Sports, and Tourism Festival of north-western ethnic groups opens on Saturday night in Nam Cuong Square, Lao Cai province.
Participants are professional and amateur artisans, artists, and athletes from 8 provinces, including Hoa Binh, Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, and Ha Giang. The festival is themed: “Ethnic groups in north-western region unite and develop towards the national tourism year 2017”. The festival will run until October 3rd.
