(VOVworld) - A delegation of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) led by First Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh paid an official visit to Cuba from November 9-12 and attended the 19th General Assembly of the World Federation of Democratic Youth.

During a meeting with the delegation, the First Secretary of Cuba’s Young Communist League National Committee, Yuniasky Crespo Baquero, said the gratitude and friendship nurtured by generations connect the two countries’ youths.
He expressed his hope of sharing experience with the Vietnamese delegation in building youth unions in non-State offices and encouraging young people to get involved in socio-economic development.
