Deputies meet voters prior to the 14th National Assembly’s 2nd session

(VOVworld) – Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh and NA deputies for Vinh Long province met voters from several communes in Vinh Long province on Wednesday. Thinh told voters that the Party and state are determined to combat corruption and the NA’s 2nd session will discuss the revised Law on Anti-Corruption.

She added the government will focus on dealing with unsafe food by tightening quarantine and monitoring measures. She urged Vinh Long province to improve food safety and hygiene and severely punish violations.

The NA delegation for Ba Ria-Vung Tau province also met with local voters to listen to their opinions and suggestions about how the administration should deal with corruption, waste, and crime.

On Thursday voters in Tu Ky, Kinh Mon, Thanh Ha, and Kim Thanh commune of Hai Duong province recommended that deputies concentrate on 4 areas: agriculture, education, traffic safety, and food safety.
