(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue and ministry and sector leaders had a working session with the managing board of the Paris-based BNP Paribas bank on equitisation and divestment in Hanoi on Tuesday.

Head of BNP Paribas for the Asia-Pacific region Christian De Charnace said his bank has consulted on many privatization deals for State-owned enterprises in France and is the consultant on Vietjet Air’s IPO.

Deputy PM Hue regards the recommendations of BNP Paribas as important to the Vietnamese Government in making and refining policies and laws pertaining to equitisation and divestment. He said he hopes the bank is ready to provide consultancy to the Vietnamese Government, ministries, and sectors in related fields.
