(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh has supported the Mekong River province of Dong Thap in developing a comprehensive plan to restructure its agriculture until 2020 with a vision to 2030. At a working session Thursday with provincial authorities, Ninh said that to implement the project effectively, it’s necessary to analyze the province’s potentials and advantages and combine the project with regional and national development plans. Dong Thap is the first province in Vietnam to design a major long-term plan of agricultural restructuring. Under its plan, Dong Thap will achieve an annual growth of 4.5% by 2015 and 5% by 2020.
