According to the AFP, EU leaders are weighing sanctions against supporters of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime unless they stop their atrocities. However, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Bohuslav Sobotka said that the summit didn’t work out new sanctions, according to TASS Russian News Agency.
The EU is now holding a two-day summit on the migrant crisis, Russia’s policy, and differences related to EU-Canada Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
