Emulation movement among female workers of non-state sectors

(VOVworld) – A conference themed “Promoting the emulation movement of fulfilling social and family responsibilities among female workers of non-state sectors” was held in Hanoi on Wednesday by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

At the conference, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Thi Thu Hong said the “Fulfilling social and family responsibilities” movement was undertaken annually, and responded to by female workers across the country. Honoring excellent organizations and individuals plays an important role in encouraging women to improve themselves. Ms. Hong said the movement, organized by the Trade Union, will continue to focus on grassroots levels and the non-state sectors, to encourage workers to overcome difficulties.

At the conference, representatives of the Confederation of Labor from provinces, cities, industrial zones, grassroots labor unions and non-state sectors proposed several approaches to popularize the “Fulfilling social and family responsibilities” movement.
