(VOVworld) – “European Literature Days 2015” is a cultural bridge connecting Europe and Vietnam, said Director of Goethe Institute Hanoi Dr Almuth Meyer-Zollitsch at the event’s opening ceremony on Thursday.

The event, hosted by the EU National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) and the EU delegation to Vietnam, includes workshops, concerts, a cartoon exhibit, a film screening, and a book presentation. Dr Almuth Meyer-Zollitsch said she hopes European literature will bring European and Vietnamese people closer together, despite cultural and language differences.
