The new regulation requires the cockpit of flying aircraft must have two crew members at all times. The Austrian Ministry of Transport, France’s Corsair Airlines, and Latvia’s Air Baltic introduced the same decision with their airlines. The decision came immediately after French officials announced a result analyzing the black boxes of the Germanwings Airbus A320 crash showing that the co-pilot, Andreas Lubitz, locked himself alone in the cockpit and crashed the plane.
