The article called the 1975 spring victory a milestone in Vietnam’s history which transformed Vietnam into a socialist nation with a prosperous people and a just, democratic, and civilized nation. Vietnam has enjoyed an average annual economic growth rate of 7% and has fulfilled most of its Millennium Development Goals.
The article cited Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, who called upon Vietnamese people to strengthen unity and contribute to building an industrialized and modernized Vietnam.
