Exhibition “65 years of Vietnamese-Russian relations”

(VOVworld) – An exhibition to mark 65 years of Vietnamese-Russian relations opened in Ho Chi Minh city on Thursday. More than 120 photos and documents recorded activities of President Ho Chi Minh to strengthen Vietnamese-Russian relations.

The exhibits reflected Russia’s support for Vietnam during the national resistance wars and socio-economic development.

Alexey Popov, Russian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh city, spoke at the opening ceremony: “It’s great to see that Russian-Vietnamese bilateral cooperation has continued to flourish. High-level political dialogue has been maintained. The two countries have worked closely at international forums and trade has increased steadily. Russia and Vietnam, two comprehensive strategic partners, are advancing to the future for their mutual benefit.”
The exhibition will open at the Ton Duc Thang Museum in Ho Chi Minh city until March 12, 2015.
