(VOVworld) - Nearly 3,000 people enthusiastically enjoyed the “Experiencing Vietnam” event, which was held in Prague in the Czech Republic on Thursday.

It is one of the main activities of the ‘Year of Vietnamese Culture in the Czech Republic’ programme and is part of the 65 events marking the 65th anniversary of Vietnamese-Czech diplomatic relations. Vietnam’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Truong Manh Son, said the event is intended to help the Czech people explore and experience some of Vietnam’s natural beauty, customs, and culture as demonstrated by the Vietnamese community in the host country.
Vietnamese companies erected 40 booths displaying, and selling made-in-Vietnam handicraft products and packaged food. Traditional dishes and coffee drew a big crowd.
