External relations contribute significantly to national renewal
Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son
(VOVworld) – Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son told the VNA that external relations have contributed significantly to Vietnam’s renewal. Mr. Son said Vietnam has established relations with almost all countries and have diplomatic relations with 185 of 193 UN member countries.
Vietnam is a member of 70 global and regional organizations and has established strategic partnership with 15 countries and comprehensive partnerships with 11 countries.
Deputy Foreign Minister Son said the foreign information should be enhanced to disseminate Vietnam’s foreign policy to create consensus and obtain support for national development and defense.
