First conference of Vietnamese and Hungarian university rectors held

(VOVworld) – A conference of Vietnamese and Hungarian university rectors was held in Hanoi on Thursday, focusing on measures to foster links between the two countries in education and training.

This event was held during the official visit of Hungarian President János Áder to Vietnam. Attending the conference were Hungarian President János Áder, Vietnamese Minister of Education and Training Pham Vu Luan, and senior leaders of related departments and agencies of Vietnam and Hungary, as well as representative of 16 Hungarian universities and more than 50 Vietnamese universities. The conference’s aim was to accelerate the implementation of cooperation agreements between the two nations and their universities in particular.

Conference participants focused on sharing information on systems of higher education, education policies, and scholarships provided by their governments.
