(VOVworld) – The General Statistics Office reports that about 620,000 foreign visitors came to Vietnam in August, an increase of 10% on the previous month.

Vietnam timeless charm

The figure has brought the total foreign tourists to Vietnam to 5.5 million people, up 12% over the same period last year. Most visitors were from Hong Kong-China, Germany, Russia, Spain, Laos, Cambodia, Britain, and China. Meanwhile, the number of local tourists has increased by 7% compared to the same period last year, bringing 30 million people.
