(VOVworld) - Hanoi held a welcoming ceremony for visiting delegation from the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) led by President Kenia Serranno Puig. The ICAP President expressed her gratitude for Vietnam’s affection for Cuba over the years and the recent condolences of the Vietnamese Party, government, and people on the death of Cuban revolutionary heroine Hernandez del Rey.
Puig said the six-day visit is to exchange information about solidarity movements around the world and discuss with the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and relevant Vietnamese agencies Cuba’s socio-economic development, foreign investment law, and preparations for the seventh Asia-Pacific Regional Conference for Solidarity with Cuba to be held in Vietnam next year.
