(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Sunday worked with Gia Lai's authorities on the province’s socio-economic development. Mr. Phuc said Gia Lai has great potential for development as it is located in the center of the Central Highlands and of the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam development triangle.

The province is also rich in agricultural land and minerals, and boasts many large reservoirs, tourist attractions, and a number of industrial and economic zones, the Prime Minister stated.
“Gia Lai needs to work out specific measures to promote development, including reducing the number of poor households, improving ethnic minority policies, establishing specific zones for industrial plants, and boosting afforestation”, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc stressed.
