(VOVworld) - The Government will increase the building of  social housing so that more low-income earners can have their own houses, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has assured Hanoi dwellers.

Mr. Phuc made the remark while visiting a social housing project of Dang Xa in Hanoi’s Gia Lam district on Tuesday.

He said social housing construction was a major policy of the Party and State and the project can be considered a model for expanding affordable housing nationwide.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to chair a national teleconference on Wednesday to review the developments in social housing and set up directions and goals for this work in the future.
