HCM City holds a referendum on the revised Civil Code

(VOVworld) – Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has organized a meeting to collect public opinions on the revised Civil Code. More than 760 representatives from sectors and organizations attending the event listened to presentations on amendments to the Civil Codes and the key content of the referendum.

Bui Minh Hong, Director of the Civil-Economic Law Department, the Ministry of Justice, said: “It’s important to make the consultation effective and practical. We have to increase communications so the public will fully understand the importance of the Civil Code and their responsibilities in building this law to ensure their rights in civil transactions.”
