The message of this year’s campaign in Ho Chi Minh City is “Do more than just turn off the power.” Six projects will be carried out from now until Earth Hour on March 23rd. They include Cycling for the Environment, 20 seconds for Earth Hour, Green Energy Street Quarter, Green Hands, Green School, and Ecological Roof. The last project, the highlight of the 2013 program, will see a number of classrooms for underprivileged children have their roofs made entirely of recycled milk cans. All the activities aim to raise public awareness of energy saving and the negative impact of climate change.
