(VOVworld) - Leaders of Ha Giang province and the Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of China’s Yunnan province have agreed to boost economic ties between the two localities.

The two sides signed an MoU on the opening of a customs clearance entrance at the Thanh Thuy - Tian Bao international border gate (baohagiang.vn)

During a meeting with Vice Secretary of the Chinese locality’s Party committee Zhang Xiulan on her working visit to Ha Giang on Tuesday and Wednesday, Chairman of the Ha Giang provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Son suggested increasing visits by the two sides’ officials, promoting exchange and multifaceted cooperation in a practical and effective manner. He said he hoped both sides will foster trade and investment cooperation and create favorable conditions for Ha Giang’s laborers to work in Yunnan.
