Hillary Clinton visits Vietnam

(VOVworld) - US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is making her third official visit to Vietnam in 3 years en route to attending several important regional conferences. During her stay in Vietnam, Clinton will hold talks with Vietnamese leaders including Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh to boost multi-faceted cooperation.

This afternoon, Clinton will attend an event at Hanoi’s Foreign Trade University marking the 20th anniversary of the Fulbright Program in Vietnam with the participation of 600 program’s alumni. The Fulbright Program was founded by US Senator William Fullbright in 1946 to promote mutual understanding through cultural and educational exchanges. The same day, Clinton will meet with the US- ASEAN business council.
