(VOVworld) - Activities took place worldwide to mark President Ho Chi Minh’s 125
th birth anniversary on May 19, 2015. The Vietnamese Embassy in Greece held a ceremony in Athens to mark the occasion, and Minister-Counsellor Pham Huu Duc reviewed the life and great career of President Ho Chi Minh. He said generations of Vietnamese people are grateful and proud of him.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Vietnamese Embassy in Mozambique and the Vietnam Consulate in the Republic of Madagascar organized activities to mark the event in Maputo and Antananarivo.
On Tuesday, the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Cuba laid wreaths at a monument dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh in Havana.
