(VOVworld) – The Noi Bai International Airport has seen more than 53,000 arrivals and departures over the last 4 days. Most of them are overseas Vietnamese who returned home for Tet and tourists from Japan, China, the Republic of Korea, Europe, and America.

During the 3 days of Tet, Da Nang city welcomed 200,000 tourists, up 16% from last year. The number of foreign tourists was 78,000. 3 international cruise ships docked at Tien Sa port with approximately 3,300 tourists aboard. Tran Chi Cuong, Deputy director of the municipal Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said: “This year we will focus on improving and diversifying tourist services. This is aimed at lengthening tourists’ stay and encouraging their spending.”

During Tet, Sa Dec flower village in Dong Thap province received approximately 1,000 visitors a day. It is considered one of the 10 most favorite flower villages in Vietnam.
