Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan asked Indian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad in New Delhi on Tuesday to open management training courses for Vietnamese officials in IT and communications, with a focus on e-government structure and technology.
Minister Prasad stated that India is willing to share experience with Vietnam, firstly in training and assisting small and medium-sized IT enterprises, especially those in rural areas.

Minister Tuan met General Director of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and attended the Vietnam-India IT and communications business forum, during which he pledged all possible support for Indian firms to join IT projects in Vietnam. He expressed his belief that Indian enterprises, with their strength in capital, expertise and technology, would find partnership and investment opportunities in Vietnam.
