(VOVworld) – The 2017 International Silk-Brocade festival, part of the 6^thQuang Nam Heritage Festival, will be held in Hoi An on June 12^th.

The 4-day festival will convene the World Silk Association, the Asian Silk Association, the Mekong Academy, and 50 Vietnamese and foreign craft villages, and will feature a fashion show and discussions on silk and its role in contemporary life. Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Chairman of the Hoi An Municipal People’s Committee, said this is the second time the Silk-Brocade Festival has taken place in Hoi An: “9 out of 22 activities of the Silk Festival will be held in Hoi An. Many new activities will be held this year, including a silk fashion show at the Hoi An Silk Village.”
