Italian businesses seek opportunities in Vietnam

(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh received Italian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation BeneDetto Dela Vedova and Italian businesses in Hanoi on Monday.
Mr. Ninh said Vietnam and Italy should enhance cooperation in renewal and alternative energy and oil and gas exploration. He express his wished that Italy organizes more business delegations to Vietnam to learn more about Vietnamese investment environment and partners.

The Italian Commercial Affairs in Vietnam held an Italy-Vietnam economic forum. Deputy Minister BeneDetto Dela Vedova acknowledged Vietnamese government’s incentive conditions for foreign enterprises in general and Italian businesses in particular to invest in Vietnam. "Vietnam is in a rapid changing period which has recorded fast and stable growth and increasing foreign investment. The government’s policies to lure investment have created an attractive and favorable environment. Vietnam is a large consumption market and we plan to introduce a series of high technologies and products of EU quality to Vietnam. We’ll share our experience with Vietnamese partners to benefit both sides.”

Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Dang Huy Dong said: “The Vietnamese government pledges to offer the best practical assistance. Foreign enterprises including those from Italy will have access to Vietnamese laws, socio-economic policies, and investment procedures and information of specific sectors they plan to invest in. Italian businesses will enjoy competitive policies compared to other regional countries. We will stand side by side businesses to resolve problems while working in Vietnam.”
