“Kong: Skull Island” director becomes Vietnam’s Tourism Ambassador

(VOVworld)-Jordan Vogt-Roberts, director of Hollywood blockbuster "Kong: Skull Island" has been appointed as Vietnam’s Tourism Ambassador for the 2017-2020 period. 
"To be sitting here and given the opportunity to further help the rest of the world realize how stunning, beautiful and special this place is, I'm not exaggerating, is one of the greatest honors of my life", Vogt-Roberts told a ceremony to accept the position in Hanoi on Monday.

The American director will be responsible for promoting Vietnam’s tourism through newspapers, art, photography and other forms of media. 
“Kong: Skull Island”, which was filmed in some of Vietnam's most stunning locations including Quang Binh and Ninh Binh province and world-renowned Ha Long Bay, hit global theaters on Friday and broke box office records in Vietnam
