Korea’s hospitals seek investment opportunity in Vietnam

(VOVworld)-Vietnamese people’s growing need for medical check-ups and treatment and growing numbers of Koreans living and working in Vietnam have prompted Korea’s largest hospitals to expand, invest, and cooperate with Vietnam, said Kim Chang-sik, a representative of Korea’s Sun Medical Center at a recent press briefing in Hanoi.

Kim said delegations from Korea’s largest hospitals have conducted fact-finding tours of the Vietnamese market and are seeking further cooperation in the construction of modern hospitals of Korean standards, medical services, and management skill training, and medical equipment acquisition.

Korean hospitals have already cooperated with Vietnamese hospitals in orthopedics and cancer control. Recently doctors from Sun Medical Center have shared their experience with Vietnamese colleagues in high-tech application and better patient care.
